This lesson is part of the unit on avoiding the heart of the wicked queen. That said, let me first secure our foundation with those who are tempted to argue the promises of tribulation and trouble.

Yes, “Man that is born of a woman is of few days and, full of trouble” (Job 14:1). And Jesus did say that “in the world ye shall have tribulation” (John 16:33). Even Timothy makes it clear that “all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). I agree with the Word, but we are talking about wickedness….not trouble, not tribulation. Alright? Good. Now that we are on the same page, let’s review.

Psalm 91:8 — Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

I offered a situation and my feelings about it to the Lord, and out of my mouth came, “Lord, make me immune to this.” I asked for a state of being where this kind of thing was below me, and where I did not allow it to rattle or affect me. This was the verse He led me to first.

When we dwell then we will remain, and when we know and determine God as refuge, fortress, and our ultimate trust….then we reap the promises of Psalm 91.

Psalm 37:34 — Wait on the Lord, keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shall see it.

Our job is to protect the throne! Wait is to bind together to/with the Lord. It is to stay close to Him. Keep is to shamar, to guard and hedge about like with thorns. Keep does not mean to obey. We are to protect our place of reigning as well as the way of life God commits to us.

Psalm 52:6 — The righteous shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him.

Psalm 52:5-7 describes the wicked queen’s heart. She (1) does not rely on God as her strength, (2) trusts in her abundance of riches (those things that bring her profit), and (3) strengthens herself in her wickedness (this is what she feeds).

Immunity occurs when we are:

    • neither affected nor influenced by something
    • not capable of being affected by disease (or in the words of a friend, dis-ease)
    • protected from something that’s required by law for most people
    • free
    • not responsive

Royal immunity is the righteous reward for staying with the Lord. Staying in position where God placed us is the way we reap with divine vision. “Only a spectator you shall be” (AMP) when it’s time for the punishment of the wicked. The wicked may seem successful now, but it’s only an illusion. They are temporary and will be cut off, cut down and removed. Then an exchange will take place.

How do we avoid the heart of the wicked queen?

We protect the throne. We keep the way God commits to us, the way He tells us to live. We remain seated. We stay in character — mercy, supplication, petition, prudence, willingness, love, judgment, and safety.

Let’s shamar our hearts, and our delegated authority. Love to all.
