Esther 2:12a, 7
The first two Queen Life (QL) calls fell under this theme: Your Turn to Be Queen. The two major nuggets were first, that every maid has her turn; and second, that every maid (woman) brings something to the table.
Every Maid Has Her Turn
This is the idea that according to Esther 2:12a, we each have our turn to encounter the King. This turn is not a temporary or fleeting experience, but it is the opportunity to make full proof of all our trials and processing to enter a time of “main stage” exposure. It is the chance we all get to live out our training as God’s royal ambassadors. As His queens.
You Bring Something to the Table (What’s In Your Foundation?)
In Esther 2:7 we learn that Esther brought some things to the table. She was an orphan, with no father nor mother. She was fair and beautiful. She was adopted by her cousin Mordecai, as his own daughter. All these things were part of her foundation. They greatly influenced her soul’s root system, and caused her to bear good fruit.
Often the interpretation of processing is that there is a focus on the “bad” — it needs correcting, fixing, changing. But…that is not always the case. Processing can enhance the good in us, and make us better.
You and I come to “the table” or the time of processing with some good things in our foundation. Things our parents, teachers, grandparents, other relatives, friends and experiences teach us. The processing time is not an indication of flaw, but and invitation to improvement and refinement…at the hand of God’s chosen vessel…Hegai.
